Surrey

Cognatum has three estates in Surrey, located in Mytchett, Cobham and Bramley. Surrey benefits from being close enough to London to be able to quickly and easily enjoy all that it has to offer, yet far enough away to still be surrounded by countryside. This combination was historically very attractive to the nobility and as such the county possesses a wealth of stately homes and beautifully manicured gardens, including the world’s most famous botanical garden at Kew. Much of the county also sits within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Woking, Epsom and Guilford are the county’s largest towns, but it is also home to a number of delightful smaller villages. The M3, the M23 and the M25 connect the county with London and the south coast, and Gatwick airport is on the border with Sussex.
